Urban-rock band Rive, in April 2008 voted 3FM Serious Talent, is starting their 12 show acoustic wintertour this week, visiting radio, tv, pubs and several livingrooms.

Their first single 'Easy Lover' got over 4 months of airplay on MTV/TMF. In october 2009 they released their 2nd single Mindbuggin', which brought them a respectable 14th position on the Dutch tip single charts. releases their new single this week. The song Mindbuggin' is written by  frontman Rivelino Rigters and Llewy Is Sell from Relax. Mindbuggin' comes from the debutalbum Rawtentik, that RIVE released earlier this year via Itunes, Velvet Music and on their own website.

After the start-up of Rive in 2007 a lot has happened with the band: Rive was runner-up in the Xnoizz Band Battle (2008), played on the Chinese New Year Celebration at the City Hall of The Hague (2008), was 3FM Serious Talent (2008 ), toured extensively through Italy (2008), presented themselves during Noorderslag (2009) and launched the debut Rawtentik (2009).

Frontman Rivelino Rigters spent more than one year to write the album on which he sought a sound where he could blend his different qualities as a singer to a recognizable style. Besides urban-rock Rawtentik also displays a hint of reggae, dancehall and hip hop. Rock Guitars carry dominate. Rawtentik stands for raw and authentic. Rawtentik yielded fine responses from the press too. OOR wrote: "Everything's right on this largely selfproduced record. The songs are sharp and fully done, the sound and play are efficient and tight. Next to that the fully drawn albumcover and presentation are from extraordinary, international allure. Therefore Rive is frequently booked abroad, mainly in Italy. Isn't it about time that we also abundantly start to embrace these own musical chameleons? "

Rivelino Rigters also works as a producer and talent coach. From his Loud Foundation he helps young people from less advantaged positions to develop their talents and enlarge their self confidence. One of his first projects was the realization of the music / video project "Samira Kom Terug": together with Arie Boomsma he helpend young talent from Amsterdam,to make a musicvideo about loverboys in Amsterdam.
